2007 was a terrific year.
A national tour of Camelot, starring Michael york, an amazing production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers in Thousand Oaks, CA, a concert with the Salt River Brass in Chandler, AZ as well as many appearances at Los Angeles and Phoenix area churches were just some of the highlights of 2007. I got to perform the role of Lancelot on the stage where Camelot originated 47 years ago. I got to honor our country's veterans to a sold out crowd at the Chandler Performing Arts Center in Arizona, singing songs like An American Hymn and Josh Groban's Oceano. I also performed again on my high school stage with my high school music director, reminding me once again how lucky I was to grow up with such a rich musical education.
Now onto 2008...
While exciting and also very busy, these last 18 months have also been a time for growth, a time to revaluate where I am in life and my career, and where I want to go.
In the next few weeks I will be announcing some big changes in that department, and I will be sure to let you know.
I'm very fortunate in my life. I've had experiences of which many performers only dream. I married an amazing woman who loves me. I have my health, and I have a wonderfully supportive family.
I also have you. I am blessed with so many people who care about me, be they family, friends, or just some of the thousands of people I have met performing around the country. Thank you for being there. Thank you for caring.
More to come...and soon! Stay tuned.
As always, yours,
- Stuart
