Concert Diary
Unity of Phoenix, Phoenix, AZ - September 30, 2007
It's seems that I'm stuck on the topic of cities recently, but I must say that I have really grown to love Phoenix. I now go back there several times a year
for various gigs and I find myself really looking forward to it. Perhaps, it's the down-to-Earth people or maybe the exciting growth
that's taking place there. I don't know. I can say for sure, though, that coming back to Unity with its wonderfully receptive congregation
is always a highlight of my trips. Thanks for another great Sunday! Many blessings, Stuart.
Center For Spiritual Living, Ventura, CA - September 2, 2007
It's been a long time since I've written. Many apologies for that! I'll try to be better. I've written before about what a great congregation this is
with a terrific Pastor, Rev. Bonnie Rose, but what I haven't said is how great a city Ventura, CA is. So beautiful and full of
great shops and great people. Meg and I decided to spend the day there after the service and we had a really wonderful time.
Can't recommend it enough to our friends. A great get-away from LA. Can't wait to go back in December - twice!
- Stuart.
Unity of Phoenix, Phoenix, AZ - September 24, 2006
Yet another awesome time at Unity of Phoenix in Arizona.
Three crowded services and two great tunes: Not Too Far From Here and World of Difference.
Sold the new CD again and as always, a loving and receptive crowd. Looking forward to coming back in November!
Much love and many blessings, Stuart.
Creative Living Fellowship, Phoenix, AZ - September 17, 2006
This gig had been on the book for months, and I'm so glad I got the chance to come here! Mark Broder,
their music director hired me after I sent him a demo and told him how much I had enjoyed singing over at
Unity of Phoenix. I'm so glad he brought me in. Luckily for me, they were structuring their Sunday messages
around new music. So we did two songs from the new CD: Having the Time of Your Life and Destiny, both of
which went very well. They have a great four piece band there and they really brought my arrangements to life that
day. I'm hoping to get back there someday soon. Much love and many blessings, Stuart.
Unity of Phoenix - August 20, 2006
Had a great time again in Arizona singing at Unity of Phoenix.
What an amazing place! As always, there were three services and tons of people
attended. The last two services were pretty packed, which is always great to see.
Rev. Maraj gave an amazing sermon about healing our wounds so that we may grow.
I sang two solos: Years of My Life by Daniel Nahmod and a
new song from my album If There Be Storms. Both went over
really well and it was wonderful seeing everyone again. As promised, I rolled out my
new album Making It Through and it was received very well.
Thanks to everyone there for their support. It meant the world. Also, some apologies
are due to some of the people who bought CDs after the second service. Time was
running out and I wasn’t able to spend the minutes I wanted to with you. I owe you next
time! Lesson of the day: bring a CD cutter to open those annoying wrappers!!! Much love and
many blessings, Stuart.
